Blessings Beloved, welcome to our community I am so happy that you are here! Let’s dive right in to 3 keys to grow spiritually that I believe are so powerful and most essential in our daily walk in Christ.
1. Intimacy
Relationship with God is the key to our destiny, it is what allows a flowing like a river in our lives.
God desires intimacy with us, he wants to speak to us about his plans in our life’s.
In my walk I have learned that God is greater than my understanding .
Somehow our personal weaknesses places God in a box.
And we ask ourselves is he really In control ? Can he really perform miracles, signs and wonders.?
Far deeper does he really love me? Does he really see me?
Our believes are more focused on what people say and what people have done to us.
Forgetting that God is a God of righteousness not sin. He is a spirit higher and far above our understanding.
He is a God with deep emotions and desires for his children.
However these are things that can only be known or understood when you actually take the time to seek God deeper than the word of another individual.
I mean diligently seek him, spend time with him to cultivate a real relationship.
Because yes God desires relationship with you.
So I ask you, in every close relationship you have around you do you do things to get to know that person better?
You spend time to build those relationships right.
Why is it that we don’t do that with God. I believe it’s because we give people more credibility then we do to the one who’s bigger and greater.
As I began to asked myself these questions, I realized I wasn’t giving God time to get to know him as I would in any relationship.
The reason is because deep down I doubted the ability of a real relationship with him because I can’t see him, that lead to doubt about hearing his voice.
I know I am not the only one that has struggled with discerning his voice.
But then when I really began to process my questions deeper It began to click.
If he wants relationship with me and I want to hear him I have to make actual time for him.
Most of us are always on the go, our lifes are busy and loud and there is truly never a quiet moment that God can come and minister to us.
Therefore it is our job and our part in the relationship to set apart time for intimacy with God.
Now one thing we must acknowledge before we continue, the enemy will come full force to cause every distraction and disruption possible to stop you from spending time with God.
This is is what makes intimacy with God such a powerful key to grow spiritually, the moment that our father begins to speak to us he pours life and goodness into us.
He begins to reveal our purpose, what the enemy seeks to stop.
You see the moment you understand your identity in Christ Jesus and what your purpose is, everything changes.
Your mind begins a transformation that understands first and foremost that you are a royal priesthood, a child of God that carry’s authority to shift things around you.
Intimacy reveals to us how God sees us and that he loves us not condemns us.
He provides counsel, direction and comfort. He shows up every single time even when you think he doesn’t.
Through building relationship with God we learn that he isn’t like us humans. He is dependable and trustworthy.
God will always stand on his word, depending on the world we will always be disappointed but God will always do what he says he will do. He will always show up when no one else does. He will always love you even when the world is judging you.
He is like no other, special and pure. He is love and is worthy to receive all the love, praise, honor and Glory from his children.…
Intimacy begins with sacrificing for him because he is worth it and it never ends rather it continues in consistency no matter the opposition.
Because truly your most powerful key spiritually is relationship with your creator who is your life partner.
Revelation 3:20 says –
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
2. Surrender
Living a life in Christ is not easy and we will face many trials.
I have learned that the biggest mistake we make is carry the burdens of our troubles on our own.
But the word says cast you cares on God.
Now I won’t lie that has been a difficult thing for me to do throughout my walk.
But I learned that in order to receive the victory we’re believing God for we must surrender every anxious thought, worry, un-forgiveness, and confusion to him.
Sometimes we associate surrender with loosing control, and we feel that if we loose all control it will all fall apart.
But that very tight grip we hold on to our individual experiences is exactly what holds us back from the breakthrough we need to receive the victory we desire and stepping into a next level of glory with God.
Surrender is more about winning than losing. It is a representation of the confidence in the God we serve – El Shaddai “The all Sufficient One”.
Accepting Jesus and choosing to walk a path of righteousness is something we have to acknowledge does not come natural to us.
If it did we would live in a perfect world, we would be all sufficient and wouldn’t need God, we would live in a world that lacked a deeper purpose.
Now I have to be honest many times when things got really hard and I felt so crushed and weary I desired a world free of sin, I even told God what it should have been like.. I’m sure he giggled with me.
But the reality is that it isn’t, the world we live in is far from perfect.
From the beginning in the book of Genesis with Adam and Eve and their eating of the forbidden fruit opened the door to sin for all creation.
It is a battle we can’t escape, but far more important then everything we wouldn’t need God and we would not experience the fullness of who he is.
It is actually the very experiences that leads to surrender that takes us deeper and closer to God, in which we experience the depths of who is.
That in itself will be the greatest gift, everything that we desire that the world cannot give us is in him.
Surrender is understanding that there is a bigger picture and greater purpose.
Surrender leads us to healing and renewing our mind because we allow God to have his way and and his will to be done.
Surrender to Christ is a key that is so powerful in our growth because putting our trust with every detail of our life in God is having faith in his promises, our prophetic destiny.
Hebrews 11:6 says –
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
3. Prayer
What makes prayer powerful is the one who answers the prayer, the Almighty God.
It is a spiritual key that can shift your environment in your favor and for your good.
In difficult times it is comfort in your sorrow but a declared victory in your circumstance.
Prayer comes with the territory in walking in Christ.
It opens doors of promises and closes doors of wickedness.
Prayer truly is a gift because it allows us to speak to our father, building a profound relationship.
1 John 5:14-15 says –
14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears.
15 And if we knew that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.
Wow how powerful is that scripture! It shows us how special it really is because it confirms to us that when we are in relationship with God he hears our prayers.
And that very thing should gives us confidence in such a powerful key.
Often times when we pray for things and they don’t happen we blame God and get upset with him and make it as though he doesn’t hear us.
But as the scripture states if we ask anything according to “his will” it is done in Jesus name.
Why is his will good you might ask?
God loves us so much… so much so that he sent his only begotten son to die on the cross so that we may be forgiven of our sins.
The parameters he has set for us are because he knows us more then we know our selves, his plan for us is to give us life more abundantly.
Depending on ourselves and others we will always fail and make incorrect decisions.
His will is our firm foundation, because our creator knows our beginning and our end and has ordained a purpose for us on this earth and anything outside of his will for us will keep us further away from what we were truly created for.
Scripture continues on to say that if you see any brother or sister commit sin that does not lead to death, we should pray and God will give them life.
This shows us that prayer truly teaches us to be selfless and there is power in praying for those around us that we see are afflicted and oppressed.
Prayer shouldn’t be a choice, rather it needs to be a daily constant thing you do.
Why carry the weight on your own when God wants to lead you through every moment in your day.
He is always present and invested in a relationship with you.
Prayer is so powerful that God has given us the gift to pray in the spirit!
Ephesians 6:18 says –
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Truly this verse says it all, pray with all kinds of prayers and request, meaning no prayer is to small or to big.
No problem is to big for God, no situation is to small.
He wants to help you and relieve you of your burdens.
Understanding this shows us prayer is nothing to play with, it is a spiritual gift that God has given us for the purpose of protection, guidance, growth, relationship, fellowship, power, binding, loosing and so much more.
It is a weapon that does not require you to pray the perfect prayer, it simply requires you to speak life and any type of prayer to your father who is always listening.
Praying in the spirit is to speak in tongues in your heavenly language, that may come for some with the gift of interpretation.
It is our portion, and if you have not yet received your prayer language I encourage you to PRAY and ask God for this gift, and have the confidence that because it is in his will it shall be done and receive it in Jesus name.
Conclusion
There is truly so much power in the Kingdom of God because of who is Adonai – “Lord” he is El Elton – “God Most High”
Being apart of this Kingdom is a a gift, a kingdom from which you will gain far more then you have ever lost.
God will Equip us and lead us through his plan and purpose for our life’s.
It is your portion to walk in the fullness of who God created you to be, seek him diligently and acknowledge him in all your ways and he will make your paths straight.
My prayer for you brothers and sisters in Christ, is that you will step into the fullness of who God has called you to be. I decree and I declare that the favor of the Lord will fall upon you! I decree and I declare that your relationship with the Lord will be stronger than ever before.
In is in the Mighty names of Jesus we pray!
Amen
