Blessings my dearest readers.
How easy it sounds to just let go and let God take the weight off our shoulders.
For some reason we feel like we have to face everything alone, and that unless we are controlling every piece of our circumstances it will not succeed.
Why we should give it to God
How any electronic such as a computer, a phone etc. needs charging and comes with a manual.
That is exactly us with God. God created us, therefore he knows us better than we even know our self.
Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
He knows our intentions, deepest secrets, insecurities. He knows our greatest desires, gifts and thoughts.
God knows our beginning and our End. Because God is our creator, and our father.
Before he placed you in your mother’s womb he knew who you would be, he placed gifts inside of you and assigned you a special purpose.
God is bigger than what we are capable of understanding.
Our Helper and Provider
God’s intention when creating us was pure and full of love.
However when the enemy deceived Eve that opened up the door to sin.
That sin we carry daily as our bodies.
Those insecurities, bad thoughts, the need to control is something we will always struggle with.
That is why we need God, when we trust him and allow him into our hearts he is able to transform those areas of weakness into strength.
He takes the weight of our shoulders, leading us in love and in truth.
We were never meant to do it all alone, God is our manual, our charger.
With just coming into his presence we come out stronger than ever.
He clearly tells us that what we face in the world will be difficult.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
He has overcome the world.
You see when we do things alone we are fighting battles that are not ours to fight.
Letting go and Let God is our duty as his children.
He loves us so deeply that it hurts him to see us hurt.
If you are a parent you know how it feels to see your child hurt.
Being stubborn wanting to do it their own way, all the while we know the solution and just want to help them.
That’s how God is with us, because we are his children.
No one said it would be easy
No one said trusting him would be easy.
For me it has been one of the most difficult things to trust God.
My life in the world was difficult and painful.
Because of that when I began a relationship with God I had a hard time trusting him.
It was difficult to believe he loved me to the gravity that he claimed to love me.
I grew up without a father and I couldn’t understand what that was.
In the beginning I fought him (sometimes I still do).
Coming from such a harsh world, I couldn’t believe he really existed.
Although even in my troubled days I always wished he was real.
When he rescued me I was in such a low place that even though I didn’t quite know if he was real I was willing to take that risk.
I was such a confused young girl, carrying so much evil, sin and brokenness in me.
He didn’t turn me away, or judge me, he accepted me.
In a world of so much rejection, he accepted me.
While I fought his love, he loved me harder.
In the world I thought I had no purpose, no gift.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I was blind but now I see.
That I (we) was created for a greater purpose that goes beyond understanding.
Only with the help of Christ the Holy Spirit can I fulfill his purpose.
Through him I discovered that life is really worth living.
While it is hard and I have yet to see him fulfill his promises over my life.
To deliver me from the biggest battle of my life and the hands of my enemy.
I know that he is working, and his plan is greater and bigger than what I can imagine.
As I wait I find comfort that through the hardest days, and painful experiences, he gives peace.
He ensures me with his Love, and always makes sure to tell me that I am not alone.
When I push too hard, or don’t push enough there he is with open hands so that I had over my burdens.
Let our trust always remain in the Lord, Our strengths be dependent of him, our peace be everlasting.
John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. XOXO
