Blessings my Dearest Beloved, do you ever feel like God doesn’t answer you, like he doesn’t see you, lets get into 3 reasons why God is quiet.
Do you find yourself praying for the same thing over and over again, and still God doesn’t answer.
I’m sure we have all dealt with this during our walk with God, and it is something that will never change.
In my own personal experience with this, the Holy Spirit revealed to me 3 reasons why God is quiet when we’re desperate for answers.
Lets dive right in.
1. Reasons why God is quiet – He has already spoken
Many times were so focused on that prayer we want God to answer and we think he isn’t listening or that he has forgotten us.
The answer is as simple as it sounds, there are seasons where God will place us somewhere that we must grow in without knowing how long we will be there.
First, we must understand that Gods timing is something we will never understand, and while sometimes it feels like what we’re going through will never end, God knows what’s best for us.
Now we also know that where God places you there is purpose, and so wether that is learning to be a good Steward of what you already have, or maybe he is teaching you how to be consistent.
The reasons can be many and all according to your personal walk and calling.
So I tell you, if your praying consistently and you feel God is quiet, change the way you pray. Ask God what does he want you to focus on, and if he has already confirmed it to you keep focusing on that thing he has led you too in this season.
Remember everything he is doing in you and through you is for your Good. Only he knows best, only he knows the right timing.
2. Reasons why God is quiet – Distraction
This next reason is one I personally have really struggled with, and is one that will really limit our relationship with God.
Distractions come in so many ways and they will always be there.
The truth is we can tend to focus to much on our circumstances; trust that God knows it isn’t easy.
But when we focus on that situation that feels like it’s weighing us down or hurting us, we miss out on the peace and love God wants to cover us with.
You see the enemy has a plot to distract you so that you miss what God is saying. And he will use everything around you to make you loose focus, and what you allow to catch your attention will give the enemy authority over your mind.
This is why it is so important to keep our eyes on Jesus, by yes praying but without expectations.
Praying just to feel his presence and grow in relationship with him, standing confident in who he says he is and what he has already spoken over your life.
When distraction comes before you, be aware of the attack and the true plot, we must learn to be different than the world, as the Bible states do not be quick to anger.
You must cling to Jesus and give it all to him. Surrender all your worries to him, bring it all to his feet.
You’ll be surprised in the power of surrender, saying yes to his will and his timing.
3.He is growing our faith
Beloved, we saved the best for last, Faith – to have complete trust and confidence in God.
In the book of Matthews, Jesus says “ if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.
Your level of faith is exactly what will determine how you will grow with God.
As it states in The book of James, faith without works is dead.
Most importantly when we feel God is quiet, he is simply growing our faith.
God wants more for us than we are capable of understanding, and while we may feel ready for the next thing, or we just want the season we’re in to be over.
He can not take us to that next level or season with lack of faith. Now that can look different, whether it is that your thinking small in his plans for you or maybe you are struggling to Believe him all together.
In order for us to Recognize that we are lacking in faith, God may allow uncomfortable experiences such as, being still and quiet to increase your hunger and need for his presence.
Leading you to pray for clarity and understanding rather than the next move.
Having faith won’t be easy at first because what you see will most likely not match what you are believing God for.
Let your faith be in the King of all kings that one that knows you best, he who has called you and anointed you for such a time as this, belief in him and he will take care of the rest.
I pray this Blog will be a blessing to you, most importantly may it bring peace and joy to your spirit, and if it resonates with you be sure to bring it in prayer to God, allow him to lead you in understanding his plans in your life.
